THE PRETENTIOUS REVIEWUNNECESSARILY
CONSIDERED.
COLOPHON

Small things. Strong opinions.

The Pretentious Review is an independent culture zine about taste, objects, and the strange business of having an opinion. A lamp can take up an entire issue’s worth of attention. Lunch is fair game.

Three pieces per issue: a dispatch, a review, and an opinion. Read them in whatever order you like. Send one to someone who will argue with it.

In the margins

Dispatches inhabit an invented world. Reviews and opinion take their cues from this one. References sit at the end of the pieces that use them; corrections belong on the page where we got something wrong.
